We compound your medication at the exact dose your prescriber specifies — no rounding, no compromise. A patient recently needed 37.5mg of a medication only available in 50mg tablets. We made it exactly.

A medication that's right in theory can be impossible to take in practice. Some patients can't swallow tablets. Others need something that absorbs differently, or that can be applied to skin instead of taken orally.

We can make almost any medication in a different form — cream, liquid, capsule, lozenge, or troche. A patient who couldn't swallow capsules had their medication reformulated as a flavoured liquid they could take without any issue.

Many commercial medications contain fillers, dyes, and preservatives that have nothing to do with the active ingredient — but can cause real problems for sensitive patients.

We identify the offending ingredient and remove it, remaking the medication without it. A patient was reacting to a filler in a commercially available tablet — we reformulated it without that ingredient and they had no further reaction.

Medications get discontinued for commercial reasons that have nothing to do with whether they work. For patients who rely on them, that can feel like the rug being pulled out.

If the active ingredient is still available, we can compound the medication from scratch and keep you on what works. A patient's long-term thyroid medication was discontinued commercially. We've been making it for them ever since.

Most medications are formulated for adults. Getting a child to take the right dose in a form they'll actually swallow, without a fight, is a genuine challenge many parents know too well.

We make paediatric doses in forms children will actually take — flavoured liquids, gummies, or smaller capsules. A child who needed an antibiotic but refused tablets got a bubblegum-flavoured liquid at exactly the right dose.

Some conditions require doses that shift over time — titrating up gradually, stepping down carefully, or alternating between strengths on different days. Commercial medications come in fixed increments that make this almost impossible to manage accurately, and splitting or crushing tablets is an imprecise workaround at best.

We work directly from your prescriber's dosing schedule, compounding each strength exactly as required. Whether you need three different doses across a tapering protocol or a formulation that changes month to month, we make what your prescriber has written. A patient on a complex hormone titration protocol required five different dose strengths across a 12-week period — we prepared each one precisely, labelled clearly, and delivered in sequence.

Taking multiple medications at different times is easy to get wrong. Missed doses, confusion, and the inconvenience of managing several preparations can affect how well treatment works.

Where medications are compatible, we combine them into a single preparation — simpler to take, easier to stick to. A patient applying two separate creams morning and night now uses one.

Some prescribers — particularly specialists — write formulations that simply don't exist as commercial products. Without a compounding pharmacy, there's nowhere to fill them.

If a prescriber has written a custom formulation, we can almost certainly make it. A specialist prescribed a unique combination cream for a complex skin condition — we had it ready the next day.

Animals need precise doses based on their size and species — and they definitely won't take a medication that tastes wrong. Commercial options rarely account for either.
