Compounding is the art and science of creating personalised medicine. Our compounding pharmacists take raw ingredients and formulate them together to make custom medications.
When our pharmacy was founded in 1926, compounding was part of a pharmacist’s stock in trade. A pharmacist who interned at our pharmacy in 1950 recalls making suppositories with the son of the pharmacy’s founder, old Mr Sydney Hull.
Fast forward nearly 100 years, and only specialist pharmacies with highly trained pharmacists like ours, custom-make medications.
