How do I place an order for an alternative therapy medication?
Start by sending us your prescription: online via our script upload form, by email, phone, post, or in person at any of our four Melbourne locations. Once we have your script, a pharmacist will review it, prepare your medication, and contact you to confirm collection or delivery.
How do I send my script?
You can send your prescription in several ways: upload it online via the "Send Us Your Script" button on this page, email it to us, drop it in at any of our pharmacies, post it to our Malvern Road location, or have your prescriber send it directly. We'll confirm receipt and let you know when it's ready.
Where can I pick up my medication?
Alternative therapy medications are dispensed from our Malvern Road pharmacy (Glen Iris) and are available for pick up at any of our four locations. We can also arrange express delivery anywhere in Australia, with same-day dispatch for orders placed before 2pm AEDT.
Can you deliver?
Yes, we deliver Australia-wide via StarTrack express. All deliveries are tracked and carefully packed. Orders placed before 2pm AEDT are dispatched same day. Some medications have specific storage and transport requirements; we'll advise you of these when your order is confirmed. Prescription-only medicines can only be sent to an address registered with your prescription.
Do I need an appointment or a referral?
You don't need an appointment to fill a prescription with us. Just send us your script. However, if you don't yet have a prescription or want guidance on whether a particular therapy is right for you, we recommend speaking with a prescriber. Our partner clinic, Total Holistic Clinic, offers $0 initial consults for Heathershaw's patients and can refer you directly to us.
What if I need to see a doctor or get a new prescription?
Our partner clinic, Total Holistic Clinic, works directly alongside our pharmacy. They offer telehealth and in-person consultations, bulk billing is available, and scripts are sent directly to us. Book a consult via the "Book a Consult" button in the section above.
Are alternative therapy medications covered by Medicare or private health?
Most alternative therapy medications are not covered by the PBS. Costs vary by medication. We're transparent about pricing, so if you've been quoted elsewhere, talk to us. Some private health funds may offer partial coverage depending on your policy.
